We Aren't So Different

Businesses pride themselves on equality and acceptance, but for whom? People of color have it harder in the workplace due to underlying stereotypes associated with their skin color. People of color are twice as likely to get turned down for employment, passed up on promotions, handed down job responsibilities, and more. This study looks at discrimination in the workplace, with the hopes to bring awareness to an ongoing issue that still has not been resolved.

Weapon Bias

Police brutality is not uncommon especially in America. Recently there has been protest for equal rights, with hopes that Black men and women will stop being killed without any means to defend themselves (unarmed). Some examples of lives that were taken too soon was, Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, and countless others not mentioned. This study looks at the unintended stereotyping of people of color doing everyday activities versus White people. The aim of this study is to bring awareness to the biases within our judicial system.

Tattoos in The Workplace

The shift in trends is changing so fast that business have a hard time keeping up. Tattoos recently have become more acceptable in today's fashion, that more people of various different age groups are starting to get them. Despite the symbolic reasons that people have for wanting to get inked, not everyone finds them acceptable. This study is over the biases faced in professional businesses against their employees who have tattoos.
